Birtukan Mideksa

Birtukan Mideska is the chairperson of Unity for Democracy and Justice Party (UDJ) in Ethiopia. Formerly, she was a judge and later, the vice-chair of the Coalition for Unity and Democracy Party (CUD), or commonly known as Kinijit. Since December 2008, she as been in jail as a political prisoner.
